Nén is a hybrid between garlic and shallot and is an obscure spice only known about in the countryside surrounding Danang. It is a representation of where we come from and our Vietnamese lineage. Nén Restaurant is a playground for us to showcase our creativity, technicality and our love for Vietnamese cuisine through contemporary culinary arts.
It is also a stage where we share with you stories about this land, its nature, its warm-hearted and welcoming people, as well as the culture that we were born into and fell in love with. By practicing our craft at Nén, we aim to bring you conscious Vietnamese cuisine that promotes kind thoughts and feelings.
Home-Made & Home-Grown
Our goal is to produce as much ingredients by ourselves as possible. Most of the herbs, fruits and flowers that we use to cook with are home-grown in our ground and rooftop gardens.
We are also proud of our self-made range of ingredients such as fish sauce, pickles, chili sauce, liquors, etc. to ensure the best quality control and customisation.
