Job Overview

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and developing all visual design outputs across the Nén ecosystem with a focus on fineness, minimalism, and harmony that reflects Nén’s philosophy and aesthetic.

This role serves as the visual guardian of the brand, ensuring that every design communicates refinement, balance, and quiet strength – the essence of Nén.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand & System Design

  • Develop and maintain the visual identity system of Nén across all touchpoints (online and offline).
  • Design key brand materials: menus, signage, name cards, vouchers, thank-you cards, posters, packaging, and other collateral.
  • Manage and update the brand guideline periodically to ensure consistency across all outlets.
  • Support the creation of internal materials such as training booklets, chef’s notes, and in-house printed visuals.

2. Marketing & Communication Design

  • Design layouts for social media posts, newsletters, ads, and event visuals in alignment with approved brand concepts.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce visuals for campaigns (launches, collaborations, limited menus, and events).
  • Coordinate with the Media teams in Danang, Saigon, and Tokyo to ensure visual consistency across all platforms.

3. Print & Production

  • Prepare print-ready files that meet professional production standards and liaise directly with printing vendors.
  • Review and approve proofs/samples to ensure color accuracy and quality before mass production.
  • Maintain a well-organized design archive (Drive / Cloud) with clear version control and file naming.

4. Collaboration & Creative Development

  • Work closely with the Brand Manager and Restaurant Managers to understand each location’s design needs.
  • Proactively propose new design ideas and initiatives to enhance the brand experience through visual storytelling.
  • Support the media and content team when needed (layout support, simple animation, visual guidelines for shoots).

Qualifications

  • Possesses refined aesthetic sensibility with a deep appreciation for minimalism, harmony, and emotional design.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; familiarity with Canva, Figma, or After Effects is a plus.
  • Understands the visual language of fine dining — depth, restraint, and subtle elegance over commercial loudness.
  • Strong sense of typography, layout balance, and use of negative space.
  • Self-disciplined and organized, able to manage remote work efficiently and deliver on deadlines.
  • Collaborative, receptive to feedback, and respectful of creative process and brand direction.
  • Genuine appreciation for Vietnamese culture and a desire to grow alongside Nén’s journey as it expands globally.
